What "energy" is your team giving off? LPs can sense it.
....
Humans, horses and dogs are "pack animals." We sense each others' energy. It's an evolutionary threat detection system which runs automatically. It sends gut feels which can supersede the rational mind.

So what does this have to do with fundraising? If there's contention among the top 2-5 partners, this disharmony will "leak" from you unconsciously. No matter how you try to paper over the discord, the stink is still there, and investors will sense it.

When I coach senior investment teams, our first order of business is to set a collective vision among the top partners.

The process of setting a collective vision often reveals disagreements, which may otherwise leak out in the marketing process. By addressing the conflicts within the family, we are able to create an energetically sound presentation to investors.

What's the elephant in the room at your firm? How is it impeding your marketing efforts with investors?
